Before we prepare the body for birth, we must first tend to the soul. To start out, we’ll create a sacred space for deep reflection as we uncover the beliefs, fears, and mindsets we carry into birth—many times we aren’t aware we are even carrying these.

These beliefs were shaped by a fearful culture, not by God’s design. If we desire a peaceful, worshipful birth, we must first break agreement with the lies we’ve been told and renew our minds with truth.

Together, we’ll explore what’s within our control, what we need to surrender, and how to invite the Holy Spirit into every part of our journey. We’ll end with a powerful discussion on how having an empowered birth doesn’t just change your labor—it transforms the way you parent, connect, and walk in authority as a mother.

You’ll feel more confident to advocate for you and your baby, and set boundaries for your family that will shape your postpartum.

God designed our bodies with wisdom and intention—and caring for them during pregnancy is one of the most powerful ways we can partner with His design. While some high-risk factors are outside of our control, many aspects of pregnancy are deeply impacted by how we eat, move, and care for our bodies.

In this session, we’ll explore the “why” behind healthy habits—like eating high-protein meals, staying active, and managing stress—so these choices feel empowering rather than overwhelming. I’ll also give you a bunch of resources on natural remedies for pregnancy and postpartum!

Then we’ll get moving! You and your partner will learn practical, hands-on exercises, stretches, and pelvic balancing techniques that support alignment, comfort, and optimal baby positioning throughout pregnancy and labor!!

Labor isn’t just physical—it’s deeply hormonal and emotional. In this session, we’ll explore how your body’s hormones shift during labor and why creating a calm, safe environment is essential for your body to do what it was designed to do. When you feel safe, you can relax. And when you’re relaxed, your perception of pain shifts, your muscles release tension, and labor can progress more smoothly.

Then, we’ll practice deep breathing and full-body muscle relaxation techniques designed to help you enter a state of deep peace and presence. Don’t be surprised if you feel so relaxed that you start to doze off—many do! We’ll wrap up with a snack break to recharge before diving into the next part of our journey.

This is where we dive into the nuts and bolts of labor—everything you’ll want to understand, prepare for, and pray over before the big day arrives. We’ll cover how to recognize the start of labor, when to head to the hospital, and what to expect in each stage and phase of the process.

You’ll learn about due dates and common interventions (like inductions and gentle c-sections) so that you’re equipped to make confident decisions if they come up. We’ll walk through what your partner should be doing to support you through each phase and explore a variety of pain management tools.

*In this part, we will do a variety of hands-on practice for counter pressure, positions, and practice conversations for scenarios that often arise.

It might sound like a lot, but don’t worry—I've created simple, stage-by-stage cheat sheets to keep everything clear and calm when labor begins. A huge thing we want to prevent is exhaustion, so we dig into that too! You’ll leave this session feeling informed, empowered, and ready to walk this journey in peace.

Birth doesn’t end when the baby arrives—it's just the beginning of a sacred new season. In this final session, we’ll gently shift our focus to postpartum recovery and newborn care, helping you prepare for the beautiful and vulnerable weeks after birth.

We’ll talk about practical ways to support your healing with things like the optimal resting, nourishing foods, sitz baths, and knowing when to reach out to your provider (like things to look out for). You’ll also learn about the power of skin-to-skin, how to encourage gentle newborn sleep rhythms, and how to practice safe co-sleeping if that’s something your family chooses.

This part of the journey is tender and holy—and when approached with intentionality and grace, it sets the tone for a peaceful, bonded beginning with your baby.

To wrap up our class, you’ll be joined by a trusted lactation consultant who will guide you through the essentials of breastfeeding, because this is a journey both parents should feel confident and informed about.

She’ll walk you through what to expect in the early days, common challenges, helpful tips, and how partners can play a vital role in breastfeeding success.

You’ll leave feeling empowered, encouraged, and equipped—and best of all, you’ll already have a relationship with someone you can reach out to if questions or concerns ever arise.

In our final session, we’ll pull everything together with simple, practical tools to help you feel fully prepared and at peace as you approach birth and postpartum. You’ll receive thoughtfully curated checklists for your hospital bag, baby registry, and low-tox living essentials—plus a conversation guide to help you and your partner get on the same page for the fourth trimester.

We’ll also walk through a list of trusted resources so you know exactly where to turn for extra support, encouragement, and education after the class ends. This session is all about confidence and clarity—so you can walk into birth and motherhood with intention, not overwhelm.
